We have multiple communities located on the Orlando core campus, and at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management (on International Drive).

Conference Assistant

The Department of Housing and Residence Life employs Conference Assistants to work with the conference groups that reside in the UCF residence halls and apartments during the summer. The CA position is a 'live in' position that requires the CA to live in an assigned on-campus efficiency. The CA is responsible for assisting with the functioning of the conference program including; assisting with group logistics, promoting a safe and comfortable building environment, and for serving as a departmental and university role model. Housing Ambassador

The Department of Housing and Residence Life employs approximately 8 to 10 Housing Ambassadors (HAs) who are responsible for daily tours of housing facilities, the front desk of the Housing Administration Building and special events for marketing on-campus housing. Candidates for the Housing Ambassador position should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge or willingness to learn about UCF and the Department of Housing and Residence Life, and are able to effectively and positively represent the on-campus living experience. Candidates who are currently living on-campus or who have lived on-campus are preferred. Typically new HAs are hired each summer as needed. Click here for more information. |

Office Assistant

An OA is a student employee for the Department of Housing and Residence Life who works at the front desk in each of the community offices. An OA is responsible for greeting and assisting students, parents, and guests with their concerns and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the community office. Residence Hall and Apartment Patrol

A RHAP (Residence Hall and Apartment Patrol) is a student employee of the Department of Housing and Residence Life who works from 12am (midnight) until 8:00am. RHAPs provide services to residents of the residence halls, such as lockouts, answering questions and giving assistance. In addition, RHAPs answer phones and patrol the communities to provide a security presence at night. RHAPs may also work with Resident Assistants (RAs) to respond to emergency situations. The Department of Housing and Residence Life is always accepting RHAP applications. Qualified candidates will be contacted whenever a position becomes available.
